Warren County is gearing up for one of its biggest charity events of the summer. The annual Rally in the Valley Bikes and Blues ride returns this Saturday, August 22nd, with hundreds of motorcyclists expected to converge on Betts Park in Warren, PA. Registration kicks off at 8:00 AM, and the scenic 120-mile route includes a memorable crossing of the Kinzua Dam. Last year, the event drew 411 motorcycles and 589 total participants, and organizers are hoping for another strong show of support.

The ride is more than just a scenic cruise. The $25 registration fee goes entirely to the Warren County Veterans Emergency Fund, which provides direct assistance to local veterans facing financial hardship. According to event organizer Jeff Frailey, that can mean help with rent, medical bills, or other urgent needs. “100% of our registration fee goes to the Warren County Veterans Emergency Fund,” Frailey said. “If a local veteran needs assistance with rent or medical bills, they can ask the council for assistance.”

After the ride, participants can head to the Eagles Club for the post-ride celebration featuring live music, food, raffles, and door prizes. Pennsylvania State Police in Warren are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle connected to a utility trailer theft in Glade Township. The theft happened on August 8 at approximately 10:11 p.m. near 2676 Jackson Avenue. A trail camera on the property captured a white full-size crew cab pickup truck at the scene, and investigators believe it’s tied to the theft.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra with a roof-mounted light bar and visible body repair work on the rear fender. While that description might sound generic at first, the combination of features makes it a fairly distinctive truck for the Warren County area. Police are hoping someone recognizes the vehicle or saw it in the area around the time of the theft.
