Vacant house fire on Jamestown's eastside ruled arson...
Arson is the reported cause of a fire at a vacant home on Jamestown's eastside last night. City fire officials say crews were called to the scene at 236 Falconer St. shortly after 7:30 p.m. Reports were that fire was showing from the windows on both floors of the two-story structure. One official says there was heavy fire damage to the first-floor. No injuries were reported. Crews were at the scene about two-hours. We hope to have more details later this morning. Board of Public Utilities officials say discolored water may still be a problem in that area during the day today after a Water Main break on Washington Street earlier in the day Wednesday.
